University
of Virginia has one of the best reputations in the field of Academics.
It ranks as the number one public university according to U S News &
World Reports and Time magazine. Its has the 3rd best Law school, 2nd best
Business school and ranks in the top thirty in Engineering and in Education
Schools. Its rural atmosphere makes it an ideal learning environment. |

This
year UVA has not accomplished much sports wise. In football, the Cavliers
barely managed to clinch a bowl position. But in the coming few months
most will see the horrid job that Jeff Jones, head coach of the Cav Basketball
team, has done. His inability to recruit and his unfriendly approach will
cost the Cavs any chance of making it to the final four. Until this coach
is rid of UVA basketball will continue to stink. Other sports promise much
for the Cavs. The Field Hockey, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and other
sports have made their effort to give UVA a good name. |

Having
been only at UVA for one semester I am cannot say that I know all. However,
with the experiences I have had, I rank UVA a 6 out of 10. This low score
can be attributed to dining hall food and the sprots teams. If the academics
had not been accounted for my rating would be even lower. |
